Role: ETL Developer with Infomatica/Datastage/Ab Initio and AWS
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6 months
A global Consumer Network client (millions of customers) in San Francisco (financial district) urgently requires a strong ETL Developer (Informatica, Datastage or ideally Ab Initio) with good experience of loading data via AWS into Big Data clusters
You will meet the following requirements:
The job revolves around transferring jobs/data from Ab Initio to AWS. The ETL tool you are an expert in does not matter but it is crucial that you have experience of migrating to AWS.
· Experience in loading/unloading and manipulating data in a Hadoop or S3 cluster.
· ETL experience (Informatica, DataStage, Ab Initio,etc)
· Experience developing in BI environments (MicroStrategy, Cognos, etc)
· Familiarity with MicroStrategy architecture & reporting development a strong plus
· Fluent in SQL
· Skilled in source system analysis and ad-hoc data requests
· Skilled in data flow diagnostics - able to dig into any portion of the data flow and find/fix issues
· Strong communication - able to understand and communicate clearly the requirements and business value of data projects.
· Data modeling experience a plus
