Shell scripting, Bash, Installing AND Configuring App Servers, Strong background in Unix/Linux Admin infrastructure components; load-balancer, app/web servers, storage, databases The focus is supporting the development organization generally covering server config/deploy and also the build system.
Duties: • Install and Configure App Servers • Develop qualification scripts to automate the configuration and validation of server stacks • Monitor and support production systems • Support internal dev-ops; nightly builds, configuration mgmt, local server administration
The key requirement is good Unix/Linux admin experience. They don't need to be a super expert in any one area per-se, but know their way around from practical experience over many years.
