Position: Technical Operations Manager

Location: Montgomery, AL

MUST HAVE:

·         Bachelor's degree or higher

·         8+ years experience Software engineering & Technical Operations management

·         4+ years experience Managing & Leading Teams

·         5+ years' experience operating mission critical online services

·         Proven experience identifying strategic solutions

·         Strong people management skills

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Experience with DevOps techniques and approach

·         Experience with/exposure to:

o    ServiceDesk tools such as Dynamics CRM, BMC, ServiceNow, etc

o    Team Foundation Server (TFS)

o    Azure Cloud Services

o    Monitoring tools such as SCOM, New Relic, Splunk, etc.

o    Configuration management tools such as SCCM, Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible

o    Microsoft Dynamics CRM

o    Microsoft SQL Database structure and administration

·         Background as a Technical Operations Engineer & Lead, Systems Administrator, Software Engineer, or similar

·         Experience working in a high volume, mid to large deployment, and multi-datacenter environment

·         Knowledge of Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, & Configuration Management

NICE TO HAVE:

·         Prior experience working for state agencies- especially any benefits/assistance related projects

·         Prior experience working in the health care/insurance industry

·         Volunteer experience and/or non-profit work
