YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE – 4-5 Years + experience as a Senior Java Developer Requires BA/BS degree in related field or technical institute training; 4-5 or more years related experience; multi platform experience; expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES::

• Conduct design development collaborations sessions with developers and formulated technical solutions.
• Responsible for making architectural/design choices to ensure the maintainability / scalability / performance of the applications developed.
• Responsible for design and code review of the overall project and ensured appropriate best practices are adhered to.
• Responsible for on-time development completion with low defect rate – through close interactions / reviews with other developers.
• Responsible for working with Infrastructure Team for setting up the necessary resources in Dev/QA/Prod regions.
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies Ability to analyze existing application solutions
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) required
• Capable of building positive relationships with team members and working as a group
• Adaptable to change and uncertainty

TECHNICAL SKILLS

•  – Working experience writing code using Java/J2EE is required.
• – Experience with UML and design patterns is required.
• – Multi database and/or multi language preferred.
• – Experience with Spring APIs and AOP required
• – Experience with Hibernate required
• – Experience working in a SOA based environment following agile and develops practices

Experience with the following technology strongly preferred:

• RSA/Eclipse IDE
• WebSphere 7.0/8.5
• Spring 3.0/4.0
• AOP
• Hibernate
• JQuery/AJAX/JSON
• Web Services/SOAP/REST
• Activiti BPM and Drools rule engine are preferred
• Agile methodology experience is preferred.
• Dev tools like JIRA , ClearCase, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins are preferred -

Experience with standard SQL against DB2/UDB, Oracle, or SQLServer

- Knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus Good communication skills (written and verbal) required Capable of building positive relationships with team members and working as a group Adaptable to change and uncertainty
