Job Description :
The Web Application Developer Analyst performs highly advanced systems analysis and design of Websphere Applications using and Eclipse based tool for Java development in a web environment.  This position is responsible for analyzing business requirements and leading the development of software designs and coding.  Reviews the code of solution(s) prepared by 3rd party vendor to ensure that all requirements are addressed.  May develop and test complex programming code.  Assists other team members in preforming analysis, design, code, and test.  Assists customers with developing consumable business requirements.  Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment and independently with a focus on quality and customer service.  Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Experience in programming and system design and analysis using JAVA programming language

Experience in developing applications using Websphere Portal Application and Websphere Application Server

Experience using one or more of the following IDEs: Rational Software Architect (RSA), Rational Application Developer (RAD), or Eclipse

Knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
5
Experience and skill in analyzing business requirements, developing new and revising existing computer programs and systems; executing unit test procedures; and producing required program and project documentation
5
Experience in performing formal peer reviews and validations and providing written feedback
5
Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients.

Ability to analyze and problem solve
5
Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course and scope of conducting business
