Job Title: Release Manager

Location: Sunnyvale - CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Required Skills:

·         Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business management, computer science/Information Technology or equivalent experience

·         Experience with release management capabilities and disciplines

·         Demonstrable hands-on experience as a Release Manager/Engineer, preferably in an integrated ERP eco-system –deep detail level task planning

·         Demonstrable experience in successfully managing high visibility/high investment projects (application implementations with multiple integrated components, large infrastructure build-outs and expansion).

·         8+ years experience and demonstrable track record in managing and delivering large/enterprise IT projects on budget and on schedule.

·         Effective oral and written communication skills expectations in terms of deadlines, scope, interdependencies, conflicting priorities, and to guide team members, address issues, and convey status.

·         Effective presentation and communication.

·         Experience in operating across organization boundaries and with geographically distributed teams.

·         Experience in using Project Management tools.

·         Strong technical competence, and experience in working across platforms and with a variety of technologies.

·         Experience with one or more technical domain such as Application Integration, EDI, Oracle/- Order Management/Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Data Warehousing and Reporting, Business Intelligence, etc… is desirable.

·         Hands-on experience with Migration tool HPPM / Kintana and Oracle technologies is a Plus.

·         Managing change control board (CCB) process.

·         Hands-on experience with version control software SVN.

·         Operating in a Matrix organization, and/or in a heavily sourced (onsite/offshore) model.

·         Experienced at working with various levels of the organization such as Executive/Senior Management and technical team members.

·         PMI Certification is desired but not required.
