Position: Healthcare BA
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Must Be Local)
Duration: 6 months
Must have Healthcare, (Strong SQL Skills 8/10)

Need to have worked in healthcare and possess a deep understanding of membership, claims and provider's data.
I would like to explain why we are looking for these very specific skills. This positions need BA to work on healthcare data related issues which requires healthcare domain knowledge, SQL and data analysis techniques. We will provide required knowledge on our application and healthcare and expect BA to be able to work as independently as possible in a dynamic environment
Business Analyst:
- Effectively leads large, complex projects and work assignments across a team
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop resources in direct or matrixed reporting relationship
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and complete artifacts, including solution design support
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team; provide suggestions and recommendations
- Lead internal review sessions with all levels, including senior leadership
- Document, discuss and resolve business, data and reporting issues within the team, across functional teams, and with business stakeholders
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams regarding enhancements, changes, issues and defects that may impact development, data, workflow and/or functionality
- Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of relational databases and healthcare data
- Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the project team and business stakeholders
- Effectively communicate with many levels of the organization, business stakeholders/SME, project managers, developers, system architects, quality assurance, operations, etc.
- Ability to deliver quality work, delivered on a tight schedule, and across multiple concurrent assignments
- SQL experience a must
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- SAS Working knowledge a plus
