JOB DESCRIPTION: User Interface & Graphic Designer
Minimum of 8 years combined experience with designing and developing mobile and web application user interfaces for large applications. The candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the overall user interface look-and-feel and collaborating with other web / application developers. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the systems development life cycle, strong planning skills, effective human relationship skills and ability to think creatively. Ability to interact with High Level Senior Management and work in a team environment is a must. Candidate will be responsible for writing and disseminating site style standards and guides based industry standards.
The candidate must have at least 8 years' experience working in: .NET (ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#), JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery, Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Visio. Knowledge of and understanding of the following: Web and mobile application development user interface standards, cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions are mandatory. Able to write and maintain detailed specification documentation supporting UI designs and must have ability to present UI designs and concepts to stakeholders. Any experience with Animation, Video will be considered a plus.
In general selected candidate must have creative flair, a strong visual sense, originality, strong computer skills. Confidence, to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues. the ability to grasp client needs and consider practical solutions, the ability to pay attention to detail, the ability to balance work on several projects at a time, good team working skills, flexibility, an awareness of the competitive business environment.
