I am the Senior Executive Recruiter at Sonoma Consulting and I am currently working to fill a role for a Senior QA Analyst with POS that will be based on site in Downers Grove, IL
Job Title: Senior QA Analyst with POS (Local to IL)
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- BS Computer Science or related; 3 - 5 years of software validation experience, including all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding and experience validating client - server based multi-tiered Microsoft or Java applications.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related database and query analysis tools.
- Fundamental understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Ability to see the business application beyond the software requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in validating high-quality applications in reduced cycle-time environments
- Demonstrated experience in continuously improving product quality
