Role                 :           PEOPLESOFT WFA CONSULTANT/ACADEMIC PAY SOLUTION

Location          :          Bay Area or LA Area , CA

Required :

 – The PeopleSoft Academic Pay Solution Consultant is expected to assist in the execution of overall PeopleSoft HR Configuration and Designs, related to the new PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules that includes interfaces as well as integration with external systems. This resource will also be asked to prepare functional design documentation, prepare test scripts, execute test cases & triage issue resolution with development partners.

a.       12 month assignment, 4 days a week onsite required, locations either Bay Area or LA Area

Required Skills

·         5+ years of hands on experience as PeopleSoft Functional Consultant with expertise in Core HR and Position Management modules.

·         Experience in at least 2-4 implementations and upgrades of 9.x version of PeopleSoft with distributed customers. Higher Education/Medical Center experience is desired.

·         Works under the direction of the HCM WFA Lead and should be able to perform successfully as a team player in a team setting by aligning to the overall priorities of the project.

·         Conduct business analysis to develop/write functional design specifications by working with the business owners and stakeholders to define requirements.

·         Ability to perform all phases of testing (e.g. Functional Unit Testing, System Integrated Testing, User Acceptance Testing)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills. This includes the ability to lead and present in meetings.

·         Ability to use Application Designer and PS Query for the purposes of auditing data and writing functional design documents.

·         Experience with MS Word, Excel and Visio is required.

·         Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
