Sr. Java Software Engineer with Cassandra is a MUST - Need to be
verystrong working with Cassandra
Location: Emeryville, CA
Duration: 6 months+
Education/Experience
o BS/MS degree in computer science, computer security or relevant
field required.
5+ years development experience utilizing Java, J2EE, micro
services, JavaScript frameworks.
5+ years development experience utilizing a major relational
database such as Oracle
Proven experience using noSQL databases such as Cassandra
Responsibility level
Exercises independent judgment with limited direction
Skills
Experience in developing micro services, RESTful API and
safeguarding them
JAVA Frameworks like Spring
ORM frameworks (such as Hibernate / myBatis)
Demonstrated experience using noSQL databases
Experience with source control, build & deployment tools such as
SVN, Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Git
Experience with middleware both Web and AppServers like Apache and
Tomcat
Comfortable creating data models, writing SQLs and optimizing /
tuning SQLs
Comfortable working in Linux environments and basic scripting
Experience with writing unit tests and integration tests
Strong analytical skills with good problem solving ability desired.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and
interpersonal skills
