Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification or equivalent Microsoft certification

·         Extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and 2012

·         5 years of experience designing and implementing messaging solutions.

·         Ability to troubleshoot DNS, IP, LAN, and WAN connectivity issues.

·         Applying patches to address software vulnerabilities

·         Configuration of monitoring for all systems and applications to ensure optimum system performance and availability

·         Experience implementing services using high availability and disaster recovery concepts

·         Experience automating processes using PowerShell and/or other scripting tools

·         Ability to manage time and balance between project based efforts and consumer issue resolution

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with MPI staff to communicate status of tickets and projects

·         Ability to follow security guidelines and conform to written policies and procedures

·         Ability to use Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook

 

Active Directory 2008 R2 & 2012 requirements:

·         Experience with Active Directory, including creating user accounts,  service accounts, and security groups

·         Advanced knowledge of Active Directory schema, structure, design and functional level concepts

·         Extensive experience with Active Directory, LDAP, ADFS, along with other federated authentication tools

·         Experience modifying Group Policy through automation

 

Microsoft Exchange Requirements:

·         10 years of hands-on experience supporting MS-Exchange 2010 – 2016

·         Extensive knowledge of email design and implementation

·         Management, administration and advanced troubleshooting in a virtualized environment consisting of approximately 4000 mailboxes distributed over multiple locations

·         Recent project experience leading or supporting Microsoft Exchange migrations

·         Experience with Message[FA1]  or other email archive tools

·         Designing mail flow with message encryption, spam and virus systems

 

Lync\Skype for Business requirements:

·         Advanced experience with Lync 2010 / Skype for Business design and support

·         Advanced understanding of Lync 2010 / Skype for Business management shell

 

Additional Preferred Skills:

·         SSL Certificate installation and configuration within Exchange and Lync

·         Experience applying Maximum Availability Architecture practices

·         Skype\Lync Office 365 hybrid user management[FA2] 

·         Exchange Online hybrid management[FA3] Knowledge of AirWatch, ZIX, MessageLabs and iMail

·         Experience using ServiceNow
