Role: Sr. Hadoop Developer
Location: Chorlette, NC
Duration: 6 months +
Responsibilities / Required Skills:
· Develop big data solutions for Hadoop platform, leveraging cloudera or Map R ecosystem tools.
· Develop solutions for interactive, iterative and batch mode analytical needs.
· Develop integration solutions, leveraging custom integration frameworks like Quartz.
· Application development experience in Java/ J2EE.
· Big data development experience on Hadoop platform including Hive, Impala, Sqoop, Flume, Spark and related tool to build analytical applications.
· Experience in UNIX shell scripting, batch scheduling and version control tools.
Other Skills:
· Experience in big data analytics technologies, Spark (including PySpark).
· Experience with analytical programming using Python, Scala or R.
· Experience with no SQL DB like Cassandra.
· Previous BAC experience, with Commercial / Wholesale credit/ Retail data (WECRIS / Peaks / Everest / IRR/ Alpide), Enterprise Risk, Enterprise Capital Management, is a plus.
