Job Description

Position: Technology Lead, Senior Portal Developer
Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.

Job Experience Requirements
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in developing Portal solutions.
• At least 5 years' experience in end-to-end portal project execution
• Experience in latest web technologies and Java Enterprise Applications
• Experience in designing solutions based on architecture patterns and Industry best practices
• Desire to work in L2/L3 support activities
• Excellent experience in open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate
• Ability to articulate the understanding of requirements and the reason behind a suggested solution approach
• Ability to define nonfunctional requirements and to translate functional + non-functional requirements to POCs
• Excellent communication skills
Skill sets
• Experience in SOA, SOAP/REST web services Architecture and design of enterprise portal applications with JSR 286 and 168 standards
• Strong background in client-side technologies such as JQuery, AngularJS
• Experience in L2/L3 Support and maintenance activities
• Strong background in setup and infrastructure of Portal solution including deployment
• Hands on experience in developing a globally deployed, multi lingual web site using Portal technology
• Architecture, design and development of J2EE applications in a web based and distributed architecture environment
• Knowledge of IT and portal governance and operations: Defining and implementing
• Experience with deployment and administration of Portal applications. Knowledge of development and deployment of application into J2EE application servers
• Strong background and experience in technologies & frameworks such as:
o JSR 286, 168 and portal architecture
o Spring, Struts, JSF, Dojos, Ajax
o EJB, JSP, Servlets, RMI
o XML, SOAP, REST, UDDI
o Application Servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
• Development of portlets according to standards
• Awareness of portal trends and best practices and experience in continuous integration, release automation and productivity improvement tools
Experience in agile project methodology and delivery
