A portal is being implemented for allowing ERS team members to utilize workspaces to increase their effectiveness through workflow, document and process management solutions and expanded search capabilities. Collaborative team sites were developed for each division to allow effective document and records management, restrict sensitive information to the specific division/site/lists/libraries using role based security and easy sharing of files, contacts, announcements, web links and calendars.

Responsibilities: 

•           Migrating sites, applications and files from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010 using the Metalogix Migration Manager tool.

•           Working hands on with content management within SharePoint which includes working with term store manager, creating terms and term sets, creating site content types with site columns            using the metadata, tagging files with metadata tags using Metalogix tool

•           Creating Content Types at site level specific to Application for Document libraries, lists.

•           Packaging & Deploying the Site Columns ,Content Types ,Document Libraries & Lists as a WSP 

•           Designing Browser compatible InfoPath 2010 forms and integrated them into Form Library of SharePoint 2010.

•           Designing, Developing and deploying Custom Workflows using SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visual Studio 2008.

•           Creating custom workflow actions to be used in the workflows using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.

•           Deploying features using stsadm.exe tool at different levels including site collections, web applications and site level.

•           Designed personalized search application and interface that allowed users to save search queries for future use and display the results in the desired manner.

•           Customizing search related web-parts such as Refinement panel, search core results web part by modifying the XML/XSLT code

•           Enforced site level security and implemented security principals, Share Point groups and users and assigned appropriate site and object level permissions.

•           Developing Dashboards showing detailed summary of files using Data view web-parts, Page view web-parts and content query web-parts. 

•           Design process with forms and workflow using K2 Designer.
