Job Description

We need candidates with Ruby on Rails 8+ yrs of experience

· Experience designing, implementing, and deploying architectures at scale in a production environment as a technical lead
· Experience performing code reviews, enforcing coding standards, mentoring junior developers, and managing technical resources using agile methodologies
· Well versed in gems/plugins, Ruby on Rails (and web applications in general), REST API interactions, and data modeling
· Strong OOP background (SOLID / DRY)

· Have designed and built well architected systems that allow for rapid feature development and delivery to production
· Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
· Experience with MiniTest/RSpec, TDD and CI environments

· Comfortable in a linux environment and infrastructure related concepts
· Experience working with git
· Experience working with Product Management organizations and other parties to understand and clarify requirements.

Good to Have Skills
· OWASP / security as it relates to web applications
· Experience with Javascript (jQuery), CSS/SCSS (Bootstrap), front-end development
· Experience in SQL schema design and performance optimization using an ORM (ActiveRecord)
· Experience with multi-tenant, distributed systems
