Job Title: Build and Release Engineer

Location: Alpharetta GA

Job Type: 12+ months

Job description:

·         Main skill should have TFS

·         5+ years of experience managing automated builds and source control management using Microsoft TFS and VSTS

·         3+ years of experience designing and producing automated build templates

·         Highly experienced in software configuration management and continuous integration

·         Knowledge of generating code coverage and code dependency reports

·         Highly experienced with Microsoft Release Management to automate code deployments and testing to multiple environments (highly desired)

·         Experience with concepts of DevOps and Microsoft's definition of Application lifecycle management (from dev to QA to Production)

·         Experience with deploying code to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, App Services and IaaS based environments

·         Experience managing code deployments across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) is a plus

·         Experience with managing source across multiple branches and hands-on experience with branching, merging, labeling, change-set management

·         Highly experienced with writing PowerShell templates to automate build and deployment processes

·         Experience with Release Management agent and agentless deployment workflows

·         Basic understanding regarding network and system administration involving firewalls, load balancer, virtual machine, application servers, web servers

·         Strong understanding of IIS, clustering and load balancing

·         Hands on experience with Release Management release definitions, tasks and deployment tracking

·         Knowledge of PowerShell/DSC/Chef
