Our Ideal Candidate:
• You're a polyglot that's experienced with compiled (C/C++, Go, etc.) and interpreted (Python, Perl, Java, Scala, etc.) languages.
• You have intermediate to expert experience with Python3
• You have a strong understanding of NoSQL databases, especially document databases (MongoDB, RethinkDB, etc.), timeseriesdatabases (Riak TS, InfluxDB, etc.), and k/v databases (Riak, Redis, etc.)
• You're familiar with queuing technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
• You're reasonably familiar with OpenStack and/or AWS or Azure
• You're familiar with basic Linux concepts and must be able to perform basic administrative tasks, including: listing processes, checking load average, managing disk space, and basic network troubleshooting
• You can work in a full-stack (DevOps) environment with Operations and QA teammates
• You're highly collaborative, understanding of diverse skill/knowledge sets, and be willing to teach others
