Summary

Perform design, migration, deployment and operation of cloud Devops spanning across Public and Private Clouds (Knowledge of Public Cloud Services – AWS, Azure essential) 

Experience

Minimum 10+ years and above  

Requirement

§  Should be strong in AWS, Cloud formation, should be working in architect role currently

·         Independently design, document and develop Infra architecture and high level design for large or mid-size projects

·         Hands On Experience in Infrastructure build, test and deployment activities

·         Experience/Good Knowledge in CI / CD automation for infrastructure

·         Refine and enhance software/system architecture and framework

·         Provide recommendations on various approaches to solving technical problems

·         Research and recommend new product ideas/innovations and proposals on new and emerging technologies

·         3 years' experience with virtualization concepts and technologies and experience designing, installing, administering, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment (public / private / hybrid)

·         3 years' experience with architecting and implementing Deployment Automation and Configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, etc.

·         5 years' experience with various scripting and programming languages such as Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, Jython, Ruby, JSON, Java, REST services

·         3 years of experience with cloud computing solutions such as AWS, etc.

·         Monitoring and log analytics using tools similar to Nagios etc.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of standard IP networking technologies, switching, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, etc

·         Broad exposure to Open Source tools to include automation, security, networking and database

·         Evaluate the applications deployed in production and make recommendations to improve security, scalability, performance and availability

·         High-level understanding of software systems design and technical concepts

·         Experience with source code repositories (Git, Perforce)

·         Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo

• Container           Management and deployment services (i.e., Docker)

Responsible For

·         Should have experience in customer facing roles and had success leading architectural discussions with customer executives that drive key decisions and implementation

·          Provide technical leadership for the design, operation and continuous improvement of our Cloud services, leading on security, availability, capacity, integrity and integration of our services.

·          Should be able to perform technical feasibility, deployment /Migration of workloads from on premise to cloud infrastructure 

·          Provide and operate a high quality Continuous Integration environment for insourced

·         projects, gradually adding Application Lifecycle Management components to allow the

·         agency to rapidly build new systems and services in ways which are secure, available, and

·         performant."

·          Migration approach to lift and shift the workloads or architecting a greenfield development and/or production platform for new applications

·          Acts as an Devops SME for Azure / AWS cloud services

·          Lead compliance assessments with the customer on designed Cloudaware Application architecture

Qualifications   

·         BE/BS in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical or other branches of engineering, Science graduates with higher experience too may be considered

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills with a high degree of comfort
