Information Architect- Remote role Los Angeles, California Remote with some travel to LA and Texas 3+ Expenses are covered, when ever travel required Position Requirements: Gather information about user types, user requirements, and tasks through workshops, interviews, and observation of user behavior & usage patterns Good functional understanding of capturing user requirements Prioritize and document user needs and scenarios Contribute towards user requirements gathering through scenarios and storyboards, user profiles and personas, and other methods Develop a thorough understanding of client business strategies Create an information delivery strategy to support a unified user experience Design an information structure that is: centered around user needs and tasks, aligned with business goals, technically feasible Create interactive experiences, navigational models Create wireframes and initial prototypes of designs Ensure the usability through user feedback sessions and usability testing Contribute to NTT DATA's knowledge base of tools, methods, and best practices Analytical and organizational skills Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience * Excellent written and verbal communication Familiarity with current usability and HCI research and methods, especially for web and GUI products * Create wire frames, prototypes of designs Familiarity with accessibility standards, Section 508/ DDA guidelines is a plus. Generate POC and prototypes * Should be able to create visual designs based on the brand guidelines or derive it from the brand guidelines. Experience employing qualitative and quantitative user research tools and techniques including: Interviews Focus Groups/Ideation Sessions/Visioning Contextual Research User Testing Surveys Web Analytics Software Skillset Requirements: Adobe Creative Suite Omnigraffle Professional Visio Microsoft Office Other Software Skills that would be a plus: MS Visio, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, RIA (Flash, Flex) Design, HTML, CSS and application of user-centric design methodologies and prototyping tools like Axure RP. Experience: Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as Information Architect with Good Written & Communication skills. Experience in Screen Designing for new Web based applications using the requirements/use cases.
