2. Linux – Good hands-on skills for troubleshooting and debugging system issues.

Title : Oracle Apex Developer
Location : Palo Alto,CA
Duration : 6 month extendable
Responsibilities:
• Design and document modules and components and how they will interface with each other
• Write code technical specifications
• Write code to specifications in timely fashion in an agile development environment
• Perform unit testing
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Provide assessment of technical impact of enhancement requests
• Address issues related to system stability, scalability, performance and security
• Contribute to the development of design, coding, unit testing and build standards
Skills and Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering using structured programming and/or object-oriented development concepts
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling
• Knowledge of the layers and components of web applications
• Thorough understanding of version control, software configuration and release management practices
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Expert skill level with Oracle Application Express framework and PL/SQL
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, and JSON
• Strong knowledge of differences with various browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari
• Experience with JQuery Javascript library
• Strong Oracle database development experience including SQL, PL/SQL, configuration, performance tuning etc.
