Position: JAVA LEAD/ENTRY LEVEL ARCHITECT
Location: Hudson, OH
Duration: 6 Months+
Face-to-face Interview Required
Role Description:
· Under minimal supervision, a Software Development Team Lead works closely with customers, business analysts, developers, and the management team to deliver technology solutions that meet the business needs.
· Provides leadership and supervision of assigned staff throughout the full system life cycle and develops, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies and implement complex application software and delivers on time and within budget.
· Also provides expert guidance for complex application maintenance and production support of multiple applications.
Development Skills Required:
OOP, Java, JavaScript MV* framework, Spring, Oracle, REST Web Services, HTML5, CSS, JUnit, Grunt (preferred), Jasmine, Git, Gradle/Maven, Resources must have strong Java skills and experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience Required:
10+ years over-all Java/IT experience.
1-2 years as an Architect
Requisite technical knowledge / abilities:
Has in-depth understanding of software development methodologies (such as Waterfall, Agile, Iterative etc.), UML, software design tools such as Rational Rose and MS Visio
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Must have the requisite verbal and written communication skills to represent his/her point of view with standard management oversight.
Skills:
Should demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following technologies:
o Client-Server technologies
o Web technologies
o Database technologies
o Speciality technologies
o Enterprise Application Integration technologies
o Other specified technologies
o Querying and reporting tools
