This role is for an Med Device(confidential) client in Quincy, MA

These are the priorities for the position:

1) Exp with Manhattan Warehouse Management System

2) Exp with Sap

QA Tester will develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software issues.

Project is warehouse move from one location to another. As part of the move, new equipment and new Warehouse Management System is being added this will require testing.

•       Required prior knowledge/testing experience with SAP, Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS), conveyer equipment - key factors for this role

Responsibilities:

•       Devise and implement test strategies that adequately assess all testing aspects

•       Review test cases bases on feature requirements and technical design documents.

•       Develop and design regression tests to ensure high quality software releases.

•       Maintain appropriate security standards with regard to data storage and communications

•       Participates in validation testing efforts by executing test scripts for all manual testing (e.g., functional, positive and negative, installation, system, acceptance, regression testing), except automation testing

•       Perform hands-on black box testing with an emphasis on usability and stability

•       Execute equipment installation, operation (IQ/OQ) verification test cases

•       Perform end-2-end integration testing on the system comprising of application software and equipment

•       Help Users or perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

•       Perform regression and integration testing prior to releases, to ensure optimal functioning of feature as a whole

•       Work with internal and external developers, technical writers and independent reviewer on quality standards.

•       Ensure all assigned validation activities and deliverables comply with internal controls and FDA regulations

•       Participate in the overall management of project phase by reporting status at project meetings and on weekly updates

•       Investigate and recreate reported defects

•       Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues

•       Track and document all testing defects and resolutions

•       Review testing results with lead

•       Ensure defects are documented and creating project defect matrices

•       Engage development and the business to address or provide feedback on issues

Qualifications:

•       Previous experience in software development, quality assurance, or other related fields

•       Knowledge of various software development processes such as Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodology

•       Installation testing experience of equipment

•       Demonstrated accuracy, precision, and attention to detail

•       Strong work ethic

•       Effective prioritization and time management

•       Strong written and oral communication skills

•       Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to work in a small team or independently

•       Strong root-cause analysis skills

•       Deadline and detail-oriented

•       Healthcare background or experience a plus, but not essential
