Job Title: Sr. ETL Developer

Duration: 6 to 9 month contract

Location: Santa Ana, Calif. 92707

Job Description:

Duties:

Looking for a sr. level person who can support and enhance existing Informatica environment and develops new, complex ETL processes to support additional design, development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Data Marts. Will be instrumental in assisting the Data Base team in completing current data conversion initiative projects.

Analyze and evaluate data sources. Designs and implements complex ETL processes. Gather and/or clarify requirements directly from the users or PM/Lead; follow up to ensure each assign has been complete to user satisfaction. Document, discuss and report to PM, Lead and team members as needed.
 
Experience:
- 8+ yrs. in ETL/Informatica development
-Senior level experience and comprehensive proficiency with Informatica in a SQL SERVER warehouse/BI environment.
-Expert in Informatica v6.x and higher.
-Expert in database concepts, logical/physical design and development Experience working in a PL/SQL environment Experience with other programming languages (.NET, Unix Shell Scripting, DOS-Shell scripting, C#, Java, etc) a plus.
-Experienceor familarity in Mainframe COBOL programming, VSAM, DB2 and COBOLis a + but not a must.
 
Technical Skills     
-Strong hands-on experience in working with Informatica PowerCenter/Power Exchange.

Ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of professional experience.

-Strong experience in working with SQL SERVER 2005 or higher Experience with dimensional modeling techniques for large scale DW/DM projects.
-Experience working in windows/Linux and IBM Main Frame environment with scripting skills.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
