Position: Java Lead/Mentor

Location: Issaquah, WA.

Duration: 6+ Months.
Rate: Around $60/hr 

Job Description:
 Technical Competency 
• Tech Lead with thorough knowledge of Java EE principles, Web services Frameworks, Factory, Singleton, MVC etc. 
• Possess excellent knowledge in the areas of application programming, mobile e-Commerce, SOA, messaging, OO concepts, multi tiered distributed component based technology and ESB
• Proven track record of providing architectural guidance to development team as an Architect
• Leads design and development teams during the design phase
• Understand how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.
• Lead roles in developing java applications and MENTOR Resources 
• Skill set expected
• Java Fundamentals & OO&D principles, EE principles
• JSP, EJP, Beans,
• Frameworks, web services, Messaging, XML/XSLT. Analysis and solution design
• Thorough understanding of development methodologies.
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices to improve client business.
• Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.

 

Communication
• Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings.
• Provide guidance to other designers and coders.
• Strong communication in general.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to present complex ideas and designs to a variety of technical and non technical stakeholders
 
Client Management
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.
• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Manage client expectations effectively.
