Subject  : OBIEE BA Role 
Location : NYC, NY 
Duration : 6 months

Job Description:
11g hands on experience
They are currently using the following functionality in OBIEE: dashboarding, dialup/dialdown, expand & open, reporting.
They aren't using BI Publisher or essbase cubes
They  had 20 reports released in February
They are now doing 2-3 week "sprints"- creating new functionality in the reports
They are going to be starting some larger projects in the next month that will go through January 2013
-This is mostly going to be detailing with security: want to better define the security
-By September they want to have a baseline of reports
-They want to do a phase rollout to get buy in from users
-By January, they want to have an array of dashboards and reports

Tasks of BA:
-Meeting with Business
-Leading focus groups
-Creating detailed specs
-Wire frames diagrams
What they want to see in a BA:
-Someone that has worked with some BI platform
-Can command a room
-Works well with the business
-Able to communication to all channels: up, parallel, and down
-Strong documentation skills (again- will need to show examples of their past work in interview process)
-Knows the technology
-Knows the reports
-Knows the business: they are in healthcare, finance
-Able to speak wisely about what the OBIEE product can do
-Want someone that is innovative
