Title: QA Test Engineer (Must be GC or US Citizen)
Location:Washington, DC
Length:8-12 months w/option for additional time

Overview:
The QA Testing Consultant will be responsible for the  performance testing, benchmarking, and support of the TESTING environment. This responsibility includes testing expertise to support the implementation and performance of NRCS web platform requirements.
Requirements:
Must have prior experience participating in all phases of risk management assessment and software and hardware development with emphasis on the analysis of end user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
Responsibilities for this position include the following: create, implement, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases utilizing:
Loadrunner
Familiarity with the Mercury software suite
Experience with Section 508 testing- HUGE PLUS
Experience in quality assurance/testing, especially system test and UAT
Ability to design and develop test cases and experience with automated or manual software testing processes/tools
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator
Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
