Title: QA ENGIENER (THIS IS A MIX OF AUTOMATED AND MANUAL)

Duration: long term

Location: ft. Lauderdale, FL

 

 

Please find candidates who can answer basic questions on windows, linux, java, jira, test cases, test plans and test methodologies.

 Use these questions as a guide to find the right candidate

·         What is a Test cases, test plans, test methodologies.

·         The difference between client server and web based testing

·         http

·         java

·         jira

·         windows

·         basic linux commands

·         networking (basic questions regarding host names and ip addresses)

·         SQL commands

 

 

 

Knowledge of test methodologies, QA process, and software release cycle.

• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.

• Good knowledge of Operating Systems and networking.

• User knowledge of test case management and automated test tools.

• Solid experience in software testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches

• Basic understanding of Google's Cloud Computing is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Jira or similar defect tracking software.

• Programming proficiency (such as Java, VB, or related) and understanding of automated test processes.

 

• Solid written and verbal communication skills. • Analytical skill and sense for usability, design, and agile development.

• Responsible for testing of web applications across multiple browsers.

• Participate and collaborate in design and specification reviews.

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and assist in providing testing effort estimates.

• Identify, isolate, interpret, and report defects, and work with developers to analyze requirements, and reproduce
