position: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Qualifications
· 3+ years of previous Test\SDET experience.
· Very strong SQL and RDMS skills
· Ability to clearly communicate concerns about code and collaborate with devs and PMs to effectively solve software challenges
· High level of personal accountability and "self-starter" attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations
· Capability to problem solve by not only identifying bugs, but also narrowing down the list of bugs to identify the root of a software problem
· 3+ years of experience coding in an Object Oriented language such as C++, C# or Java.
· Passion for software quality, good instincts for how cloud software should behave and what Microsoft customers expect
· Outstanding ability to break things in creative ways
· Experience with IIS, MVC and ASP.NET
· Experience with Azure/SQL Azure a strong plus
