Position : Storage Services Automation
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
Soft Skills Required
•Design and implement projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle
•Scoping, prioritizing, planning, bug fixing, site rollout, and documentation
•Work with team members to define features and the technical strategy needed to deliver those features to end users
Expertise Required
•Coding Languages: Python, PHP, Ruby
•Software Control Management Software: GIT
•Web Frameworks: Python/Django, Ruby/Rails
•Cloud Technologies: Openstack Object Storage, Openstack Compute, and Image ecosystem
Job Functions
Contribute to the technical direction of the product.
•Interface with Storage engineering team to develop and manage production releases
•Contribute to the on-going design and development of storage resources automation
•Design and develop user APIs and CLIs for block/file/object storage provisioning automation
•Design and develop user interface/portal for services management and monitoring
Qualifications
•Extensive hands-on software design and development experience across a number of successful commercial products.
•Demonstrated ability to apply software engineering best practices to design, implementation and unit testing.
•Deep passion to continuously deliver highly successful commercial solutions.
•Minimum of 3 years SW Development Experience.
•Experience in the compute infrastructure (server, storage and networking) management software/storage industry preferred.
•Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
•Experience with:
.Management Software for ICT Infrastructure
.Object-oriented design and programming
