We got a opening for our direct client  

ROLE:  System Architect

Duration : 1+yrs

Location : Camphill PA

Skills Required:

•  Minimum (8-10) years of progressively complex experience and expert-level skills in analysis, design and programming of which three (3) years must have been as a technical lead role

•  Expert level understanding in web application development using JSP and strong experience with Weblogic

•  Three years of working experience using PL/SQL and Oracle database

•  Expert-level skill and knowledge in SOA/ Web Services implementation.

•  Expert-level skill and knowledge in application performance tuning & optimization

•  Expert-level skill and knowledge in J2EE application architecture, Object oriented programming and concepts, web site design and development using web base languages (HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript) and database access using SQL.

•  Expert-level skill and knowledge and experience as a Java Application Developer (development, Unit testing  using tools such as JUnit/Easy-Mock and diagnostics tools such as Wily Introscope and jProbe)

•  Expert level understanding on configuration management tools such as SVN, Hudson-2.1.2-1, ANT and Maven

•  Expert level knowledge in patterns and frameworks such as Struts 2, Spring, Hibernate, and MVC

•  Experience in all Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including, requirements, design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance.

•  Experience with data modeling is preferred

•  Baccalaureate-level degree in relevant technical specialty, such as computer science, management information systems, computer engineering

•  Experience required for RUP, UML, Rational RequisitePro, Application Developer for WebSphere, Rose Developer for Java, Rose Modeler, MagicDraw UML ,Eclipse, ClearCase,  ClearQuest

•  It would be a plus to have knowledge on SOA Governance using Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Business rules using Oracle Policy Automation 11g, Extract Transform and Load tools and Data Warehouse concepts such as data mining, data mart design and on-line analytical processing (OLAP), etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

•  Functions as a senior technical expert in the Integration Architecture and Security Architecture

•  Establishes and maintains strategies, principles, and procedures that govern system management, maintenance and operations activities

•  Evaluate, recommend and select development and testing tools & utilities

•  Maintains fundamental technical design structures and principles of the system technical architecture

•  Maintains direct knowledge of and applies all relevant technical processes, procedures, and quality standards

•  Advises and consults with management and application leads, regarding technical problems, system performance issues, and system changes

•  Reviews and analyzes change requests to determine the scope of work and estimate the level of effort. Writes technical specifications

•  Assists in development and improvement of plans, processes, procedures, standards and priorities

•  Identifies and resolves the most complex problems, coordinating with system users to determine symptoms and ensure accurate problem definition and resolution

•  Identify system integration opportunities

•  Identify and implement best practices, tools and standards (technical design, coding standards, security, etc)

•  Manage system architecture, code quality, design  standards

•  Facilitate system performance, scale and availability activities

•  Creates and maintains reports on the status of technical issues and activities

•  Excellent written and communication skills with ability and desire to mentor others, both within and outside the team
