POSITION: Lead / Senior Cognos Report Developer
LOCATION: Oakland, CA
LENGTH of CONTRACT: 6 months – 1 year with the possibility for extension

Job Requirements:
* Assist in gather complex report requirements from SME Health Care Data Analysts.
* Create Cognos Report Studio Reports from user requirements.
* Develop Cognos Report Studio Reports from SAS design spec's provided by SAS team which be delivered on the Cognos BI Platform in V8.2 and V8.4.
* Perform QA Unit Testing and Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
* Deliver System Level and Application Documentation with Client SDLC Methodologies.
IBM Cognos BI Skill Set:
* Cognos BI Expert in V8.2 & V8.4 with extensive in Cognos Report Studio and Query Analyzer Tool Suite.
* Ability to interpret data models/databases to run efficient queries with large databases (~ 10 million records
* Advanced Custom SQL Skills is essential and Query Performance Tuning (Toad Tool Suite) essential.
* Received Training on Cognos V10.1 Current IBM Cognos Version.
* Minimum of 3-4 years prior experience in Cognos BI Platform.
* Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in creating BI Dashboards/Scorecards/Portals.
Health Care and IT SDLC Background:
* 2-3 years of experience in report development in Health Biometrics and/or Medical/Clinical Operations.
* 2-3 years of experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or ACN Application Development Methodologies.
* Proven experience in documentation User Report Development Requirements.
