Job Title:           IBM DataPower Architect   ( with WTX, Message Broker & SOA experience)               

Relevant Experience (Yrs)    :               7 years

Work Location                    :   Deerfield, IL, USA

 

Technical/Functional Skills                :               Strong Integration experience,  proficient in DataPower (XI50) , XI60 , XB62 development including strong XSLT, JSON, XML/SOAP, REST Services, SOAP Services.  Good understanding of DataPower (XI50) administration and configurations.  Experience with IBM Websphere.  Experience with Event Stream Processing / Event Driven Integration Architecture  

Experience Required                               The DataPower Architect is an experienced delivery resource for top tier clients and complex industry leading projects.  Understanding of the fundamentals involved in Integration Architecture such as:  creation/definition of architecture diagrams, creation/definition of technical integration specifications, and good verbal communication skills.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities        :               Required

·         Minimum 7 years industry experience

·         Minimum 1 year prior consulting experience

·         Practical experience (more than 5 years) in Architecting/Implementation of Application Integration in an highly international environment involving platforms IBM DataPower, Java /JEE

·         Project Management Experience working for large international projects in the

·         Application Integration Area.

·         A solid understanding of highly available, high performance, distributed

architectures

·         Certification in Middleware solutions / Technologies would be desirable.

·         Practical experience in following technologies:

·         Enterprise Information Integration

·         Enterprise Application Integration & Middleware Solutions

·         SOA-based Data Integration, Enterprise Service Bus Technologies XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD

·         SOA & Web Services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST)

·         SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Triggers

·         Strong experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) and service oriented architectures (SOA)

·         Exposure to Retail and Pharmacy sector is preferred.

·         Ability to assist in the development of long-term vision, strategy, and roadmaps for assigned projects in conjunction with the client's strategic objectives

·         Strong experience with enterprise service bus (ESB) and service oriented architectures (SOA)

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong experience with technical team leadership

·         Strong ability to drive decisions through consensus and to influence change

·         Strong ability to design pragmatic solutions to complex business problems

·         Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies

·         Strong understanding of project management techniques

·         Solid experience troubleshooting complex tasks and processes

·         Solid experience with change management processes

·         3+ years' experience in integration patterns, best practices and implementing SOA concepts leveraging commercial products

·         Experience, Enterprise Architecture Frameworks and Design Patterns

·         Experience with Web services, REST Services, Process Orchestration, ESB and Data Virtualization Systems

·         Very strong experience incorporating enterprise security policies and technology into the integration architecture, standards and guidelines

·         Exposure to Retail and Pharmacy sector is preferred.

 

Generic Managerial Skills     :               Excellent Analytical Skills, ability to work under pressure, good communication skills.

Education                                   Bachelor degree in business management, computer science or related field.
