This is mainly a System Administrator who has a strong background working with web applications and infrastructure for Windows/LINUX. Please send me a good Windows/LINUX Administrator who has a strong background with web applications (IIS, Apache, etc.)
3+ years experience in system administration
2+ years with web server administration
The web system administrator/analyst must have demonstrable expertise with the following:
Web server software: Apache, IIS 6+, Tomcat
Windows 2003, 2008
Linux (LAMP ideally)
MS SQL 2005, 2008
DNS
TCP/IP
Physical and VM server management
The administrator should also have considerable experience with some, if not most of the following:
CDNs (Akamai, Limelight, etc)
Conventional and cloud based hosting solutions (Rackspace, Amazon, etc)
Web development familiarity (CF, PHP, JSP, .Net, etc)
Version control systems (SVN, CVS, etc)
Bug tracking systems (Trac, Bugzilla, etc)
Other DB systems (MySQL, PostGRE, Oracle, etc)
