DETAILS:

Position: Project Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 5+ months

Interview: Telephonic

 

We are looking for a Project Manager to drive IT Change Management and Site Readiness for major platform initiatives: Centerpiece (SAP) for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and C360 (Siebel) for Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

 

Job Description:

•Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the end user side of change caused by IT projects.

•Utilize MDT change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.

•Gathers requirements and recommends solutions for complex communications and change management programs, affecting both internal and external stakeholders.

•Delivers successful change management and communication mechanisms, messages, channels, systems, materials and tools to address audience needs and expected impacts.

•Provides communications and change management subject matter expertise, coaching and mentoring to members of the project and deployment teams

•Builds business relationships and is committed to promoting an understanding of communications and change management best practices across deployments and organization.

•Focus on project team engagement, organizational readiness, stakeholder management and leadership alignment. Position Responsibilities Analysis, Solution Recommendation and Strategy Implementation

•Assess end user needs. Determine key impacts to process and organization using established assessment tools.

•Work with program/project management to recommend strategy and approach to meet needs.

•Define project/program's change management and communication strategy and approach based on Medtronic Enterprise Applications Change Management and Communication Program methodology

•Implement strategy to minimize potential impact of change to end users and other key stakeholders in support of Enterprise Applications programs or related functions.

•Build communication and change management capability within the project team and organization impacted by the implementation Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

•10+ years of professional communications, project management, change management or closely related experience

•Prefer Masters degreed candidates

•Demonstrated project management skills

•Experience in business requirements definition and requirements gathering

•Demonstrated change management skills and prior experience with change readiness communications

•Experience in Information Technology Environment and Projects

•Demonstrated problem analysis and solution recommendation capabilities

•Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills

•Strong interpersonal and influence management skills

•Ability to work in a cross-cultural/global environment with all levels of management MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Project, Visio, Adobe, SharePoint, Photoshop, Explorer, etc.

•Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours a day

•Travel by auto to and from work locations

•Some domestic or international travel may be required depending on the location of key functional group
