Job Title : SQL Server Developer

Location: Denver, CO

Project Duration : 8 months

Rate: $55/hr on C2C

Primary Skills : Basic skills needed are SQL 2005 development with expertise in SSRS, SSIS

 

Other Information :

• 3 years of database development, data modeling preferred
• Direct experience with SQL Server required
• Other database technologies/platforms such as Oracle a plus
• Operational data storage environments and data warehousing concepts
• Reporting and business intelligence tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Hyperion, etc.
• Separation of data methodologies (i.e. staging, development, production)
• Database Administration activities including managing connections, configuring databases
• Knowledge of data backup/ recovery/ rollback planning and implementation preferred
• SQL Server optimization, fine-tuning, and scalability techniques.
• Conversant in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as RUP, Agile, etc.
• Experience writing SQL and T-SQL, including queries, triggers, stored procedures
