Job Description

 

Senior Application Developers with RCP/SWT experience

Technical Skills: -

 

At least 2 years GUI development experience with SWT (Standard Widget toolkit) in the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) –

 

Total 4 to 5 years of Java development/ IT experience is needed.

 

Hands on experience using Swings

 

- Hands on experience with Java/ J2EE applications, especially desktop applications are desirable

 

- Good exposure to Web Services (REST) integration with desktop application.

 

 - Good exposure to one of the application server environments Websphere, JBoss or Weblogic.

 

- Experience using Rational clearcase is a plus

 

- Able to provide production support for the systems in production.

 

Soft Skills:

 

- Able to work with client employees directly

- Self motivated and good at prioritizing the work for him and the team.

- Good team leading skills

- Set the right expectations to the people whom he/ she work with.

- Risk and Issue management

- Status Reporting and Communications
