Location:           El Segunodo, California

Duration:           6 Months

 

Must-haves

- 5 years' experience as a Java Developer
- 3 years' experience of Embedded Java Development 
- Experience coding on embedded systems (Set Top Boxes, Consumer Electronics, Phones, etc) 
- Ability to code in C or strong knowledge of C
- Experience in a real time Linux Environment
- Working either from 11am-7pm or 7am-4pm

 

Plusses

- Experience with JNI (Java Native Interface) 
- Experience with AWT (Abstract Window Toolkit)

 

Day-to-Day

Client: Cable/Media

This client is looking for an Embedded Java Developer to configure and integrate new features into an existing code base. This person will be in charge of making customizations, and doing additional maintenance to the existing code within the existing software on the Set-Top Boxes. This person needs to have a pro-active personality and a go-getter attitude.
