Job Title:             Server Architect - Onshore - Tier 1
Location:             Monterey Park, CA

Duration:             6 Months+

Client:                  Sempra Energy

Responsibilities:

·         Encompasses the requirements for planning and design of a skilled Infrastructure engineer with the implementation and organizational skills of an experienced project manager.

·         System technologies include Windows and UNIX servers, Active Directory / LDAP, storage devices, data backup and other infrastructure technologies.

·         Provides consultation, installation and support towards the development of Service Level Agreements and Objectives.

·         Proactively researches and locates necessary tools and processes to identify disruptive service processing trends as they develop.

·         Prepares tradeoff studies and evaluations for vendor equipment. Includes network planning, business case development, and presentation.

·         Analyzes current system configuration and operability along with anticipation of future business requirements.

·         System configuration and design, including, operational requirement definition, development of alternative solutions and justification for the selected alternative. Must have ST

Skill Requirements:

Applications and Administration Expertise in Multiple Areas:

·         Integrate applicaitons with LDAP

·         Disaster Recovery

·         Windows Server 2003 And 2008

·         Windows Servers: Active Directory 2008 R2 (Expert)

 

Qualification:

·         Proven experience in various component IT infrastructure with engineering and operations strength.

·         Excellent presentation and communication skills are required.

Must have engineering and/or operations experience with Microsoft Active Directory (expert), Windows (expert) / UNIX (beginner – intermediate) servers, storage systems capacity planning capabilities and metric reporting presentations
