Required Skill Set:
- 5+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
- Lead experience
- Extensive experience with testing .Net applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of using Load Runner and Performance Center.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HTTP/Web + 2 protocols used in a performance testing context.
Nice to have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Banking applications and conducting performance testing of applications written in various languages.
- HP Performance Center certification
- Knowledge of AJAX/Flex protocol.
- Knowledge of systems monitoring, OS metrics, Site scope, Diagnostics/Profilers.
- Knowledge of data centers and networking.
- 4 Year Undergraduate Degree in a Computer Science or IT related field.
Job Description:
Acts as a lead in providing test design guidance and consultation with respect to performance testing best practices, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes performance test results and communicates in non-technical terms to business partners and IT management. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original automation scripts. Acts as an expert technical resource in the performance and automation areas. Verifies testing program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
