Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Face to face required after telephonic
RATE : $55 to $60/hr
•6+ years or more experience w/ .NET front end and SQL back end.
•Familiar w/ design patterns
•Fast paced developer who can wear different hats and is strong at both development and business facing interaction.
•C# and ASP.NET experience. Don't need C++ or MATLABS experience anymore. He would like it but will live without it.
•Need to be able to handle the business layer and development layer.
•Expertise with a range of technologies such as VBA, MS Excel, MS Access, ASP .NET MVC2, C#, VB, .NET 3.5/4.0, XML, JavaScript with jQuery, HTML.
•Strong experience in programmatic use of real time and historical Market data systems including Reuters, Futuresource and PAWS
• Proficiency with web based development, windows forms and windows service-based development
• Familiarity with Object Oriented analysis and design.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience gathering and documenting system requirements.
• Excellent multi-tasking, problem solving & analytical skills.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, proactive & independent. Also works effectively within teams.
• Experience of building/guiding complex technical solutions from inception to delivery.
• Aware of new technologies to best fit trader analysis requirements and the ability to learn those technologies quickly.
• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science and engineering or equivalent.
