……… is revolutionizing fixed income investing by leading the innovation of electronic trading in this space. We recently launched the industry's first product aimed at fixed income retail investors. Our users enjoy streaming price updates, and we currently stream 57,000 live and executable quotes per sec or 20 million price updates per day. They sift through 1.5 million bond issues using our robust search capabilities and trade them using our superior analytics, smart order routing, aggregation and OMSfunctionality. We are in the midst of enhancing our platform to even greater levels of scalability and user base ( think millions ) and the scope of our current work covers architecture, engineering, scalability,
reliability, low latency and general performance.
Our engineers own the entire lifecycle of a business feature from analysis, prototyping, development, testing and working with the production support groups to deploy their changes. Our code base is large and impacts a very large number of users. A very large amount of data flows through the system on a given trading day. In addition to smart data structures and algorithms, we place great emphasis on testing, and architecting and designing our systems for well planned and risk mitigated releases. We have a very agile process and a frequent release schedule. We are a venture backed, well funded and fast growing company in the financial technology space and we are always looking for top engineering talent. Specifically at this time, we are looking to add a junior-mid software engineer with the following details.
Software Engineer
Responsibilities :
-- implement enhancements and features to a state-of-the-art trading system
-- partner with sales and trading, analyze requirements, come up with implementation choices, build
them into specs
-- contribute to the integration testing as part of the release cycle
-- work on automated testing environment for the trading system
Qualifications & Skills
Required
-- a minimum of bachelors degree in computer science
-- 2-3 years of programming experience in java
-- experience with unit testing and integration testing tools
-- experience with Spring and Hibernate
-- exposure to Flex/AIR
-- attention to detail
-- strong problem solving skills
-- good communication skills
Desirable
-- experience working with large scale and high volume systems
-- experience working with trading systems
-- experience with scripting languages.
