Hi All,

 

I have an urgent need for a Sr. .Net developer for my client USAC, here in Washington, DC.

 

 

H1 OK – F2F will be required.

 

Client: USAC

Length: 6+ Months (Will be extended based on performance)

Rate: 50hr c2c

Location: Washington, DC

 

 

BACKGROUND: 

USAC Financial Operations has Access databases that IT needs to "productionalize" in IT supported systems similar to E-File.

 

SCOPE OF WORK:

 

Perform software development and maintenance tasks assigned under the guidance of USAC management.  These tasks may include but not be limited to:

·         Reengineering, Development and implementation of Access database functionality related to Financial Operations into IT support systems

o   Work with USAC technical staff, including network engineers and database administrators, to analyze and improve system performance.

o   Use USAC's version control system to manage software code.

o   Adhere to USAC's standard Software Development Life Cycle (Scrum).

o   Develop and/or update technical design based upon requirements specifications.

o   Develop and/or fix software applications, using the tools that fulfill the requirements specifications and conform to the technical design.

o   Perform unit-level testing of developed software applications.

o   Correct issues found during system and user acceptance testing.

o   Create other technical documentation, including user and administrator guides and configuration management plans.

·         Other tasks as assigned by USAC management.

 

 

REQUIRED SKILL-SET AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Proposed resource should possess a minimum of 4-6 years of industry experience and a minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience in the following technologies/areas:

·         SDLC development lifecycle/ deployment experience with demonstrated successful projects

·         General knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes

·         Strong understanding of RDBMS Concepts, MS SQL Server (3-4 years of experience creating complex DTS packages expected)

·         Experience with ASP.NET and C#.NET.

·         Configuration Management

·         Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Technical Documentation Skills
