Senior Applications Analyst

Location: LA, CA

Duration: 6 Months +

 

DescriptionDescription

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Sr. Business Analyst will work within the Oracle Fusion Global HR, Taleo and other Human resource products provide production support and continuous process improvement related to Oracel Global HR and Taleo. This position is responsible for issue resolution, business process analysis, solution design, implementation, training and also maintenance of the related systems applications. The Sr. Business Analyst will work with various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing and executing process and system enhancements and projects. Additionally the position will be play the critical role of ensuring that users and IT personnel have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and specifications related to applications.

DETAILED RESONSIBITIES/DUTIES:

  • Evaluating business processes and system capabilities and developing requirements for enhancements along with business and IT personnel.
  • Interviewing various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/processes and then create detailed, specific and comprehensive documentation.
  • Implementing enhancements collaborating with users and IT personnel through design, development, testing, training, implementation and monitoring.
  • Supporting business users to ensure the optimal performance of processes and system use.
  • Collaborating with the Oracle SAAS support team to ensure smooth operation of the Oracle Fusion Global HR and Taleo applications
  • Participating in Change Management activities including documentation and training on Oracle HR processes
  • Providing daily/weekly/monthly updates to the Manager, Human resources and processes and the affected users.
  • Addressing and escalating unresolved issues in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

QualificationsQualifications

Skills:

Required

  • Ability to analyze business processes and devise improvements
  • Proven track record with the use of OracleHuman Resource Applications in both functional and technical environments
  • Strong understanding of systems, processes and controls
  • Strong relationship building, teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into system-based solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet firm deadlines

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Global HR and Taleo
  • Solid proficiency of Microsoft Office - Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, and Visio

Experience:

Required

  • 5 years of experience in Human resource applications and/or Information Technology with minimum 3 years ofHR Applications analysis and implementation
  • Extensive systems and process experience.

Preferred

  • Oracle Fusion Global HR and Taleo support
  • Experience with global implementations

Education:

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business or equivalent

Preferred

Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
