The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for application management, enhancements and investment projects as well as provide operations support for managing requests and work-in-process for the Anti-Money Laundering and List Screening platform.
The successful candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment. They will be responsible for working with business leads, in order to clarify requirements and define solutions and with the technical team to handle requests.
About the Position and Background on Project: The role will focus on performing and leading enhancement and project delivery tasks for the Client's AML and List Screening platform. The position will support all phases of the software delivery life cycle. This position will be a primary resource for day to day operations.
Key areas of focus and responsibilities: Responsibilities include all aspects of leading project delivery on the AML and List Screening platform. Duties include oversight of vendor and IT resources required to implement the required changes. Successful execution of this role will require strong thought leadership as well as the ability to structure and lead technical problem solving efforts. Strong communication skills are required in order to communicate to both technical and business audiences on matters related to the platform.
Evaluate business requirements and implementation solutions. Assist in development of system requirements. Oversee the system and data infrastructure process. Configuration or development in the system to meet requirements and unit test as required. Coordinate with environment team on the system and data infrastructure process. Assist with the project planning, resource allocation, and cost estimates for each release. Review test plan and test cases to ensure that all aspects of changes are adequately tested. Consult with process and methodology teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of design options. Provide reference materials to support training needs. Correct and/or resolve function testing issues. Provide functional test prioritization process which includes recommendations and risk evaluation. When not performed directly by the team, oversee vendor configuration work. Assist in and/or provide second-level diagnosis of application issues, and, where appropriate, resolve application issues. Participate in the planning process for environment migration of releases. Consult with performance testing team to create the performance load model and review the results. Identification of product stabilization opportunites.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
5 years of experience in IT projects
1 year of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design
Experience with Agile Development or other rapid cycle development processes.
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in MIS, Engineering or Business
5 years of experience in leading and managing IT projects
2 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis and Design
2 years of project management experience
