Position - Security Engineer
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: Long Term
Rate : $42/hr
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Advanced skills with McAfee suite of tools (ePO, Virus Scan, DLP, HIPS, client proxy, etc)
· Strong skills in aspects of client firewalls, disk encryption, and operating system image hardening
· Experience analyzing event and security logs
· Good understanding of workstation vulnerability assessments
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude
· Strong self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism
· Ability to act as a technical lead for a small operational workgroup
