Role: DB2 DBA

Location: Lincolnshire IL

JD:

  • Relevant Years of experience: 5 - 7 years.
  • Understanding IBM DB2 database architecture.
  • Install IBM DB2 software
  • Create practice and maintain standard installation and set-up procedures for database servers
  • Maintain and facilitate standard backup procedures, retention plans, and restore testing
  • Perform regular data refreshes and making production data anonymous for use in testing environments
  • Maintain standard procedural documentation related to all aspects of operating the database platforms
  • Participate in incident resolution as an escalation point for database incidents
  • Perform testing and production builds involving data changes and stored procedure building while following established change management procedures
  • Assume all DBA duties in testing and development environments, maintaining design, and data consistency throughout
  • Understanding Familiar with process oriented tools(like remedy).
