Role: UAT Analyst
Location: DURHAM, North Carolina
Duration: 1 year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepare Test Cases to review all variables and trigger criteria for documents and letters produced by Seterus.
Condition loans to be used to validate test scenarios and provide regression testing.
Troubleshoot reporting and database errors for Document Production and Processing groups.

Conduct the primary testing for updates of several different servicing applications.
Document test plans and results in a detailed, but concise manner.
Provide detailed reports to application development and senior management about testing results.
Explore ways to improve the handling of documents with a goal of moving to a more paperless environment.
Understand existing processes and identify opportunities and methods for improvements. Justify and prioritize improvements based on cost savings and value of enhancements.
Design and perform quality control tests to ensure accuracy of processes.
Conduct the primary testing for updates of several different letter applications. .

GENERAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, with an emphasis on Access, Excel, and SQL
Ability to learn and operate in-house computer systems and a variety of vendor software applications.
Time management skills.
Critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to details.
Organizational skills.
Skill to type 50 words per minute.
Ability to operate general office equipment (photocopier, fax, etc.).
Basic knowledge of mortgage servicing.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to build consensus around an idea, plan, or methodology.
Ability to listen to line-level system users and analyze roadblocks and opportunities for system or process improvement.
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
