Hyperion Support Engineer.

Location:  Chicago Area Local (Oak Brook area)

Duration 4-6 months extensions possible

Telephonic interview

Person needs to work with end users to troubleshoot & fix issues.

Must have very solid communication skills Written and spoken for telephone and online support Also this person may need to work on enhancements while supporting the client.

Qualifications

·         Minimum 5 – 8 years' experience managing financial planning and reporting systems

·         Hands on experience with creating and maintaining Hyperion Essbase applications, Hyperion data forms, databases, outlines, calculation scripts, security and load rules

·         Previous experience with financial system project implementations

·         Experience with financial systems and procedures, data verification and a solid understanding of financial statements and concepts

·         Hands on experience with Essbase administration applications and tools including but not limited to EAS, Essbase Studio, EIS, Hyperion Reporting studio

·         Experience with Essbase version 11.x.x.x or higher (company is currently using Hyperion System 11.1.2.2), and knowledge of working with Essbase Excel add-in(Smartview), and other Hyperion Reporting tools is required

·         Experience with building BSO cubes and optimizing BSO cubes

·         Experience with use and development of ASO cubes and MDX commands

·         Experience with use and development of integration between ASO and BSO cubes

·         Experience with use, development and reconciliation between multiple Hyperion Planning applications

·         Experience with use of sparse/dense dimensionality concepts, attribute dimensions, calculation scripts, load rules, security filters and MAXL commands.

·         Basic PL/SQL knowledge.

·         Some knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Data Relationship Manager (DRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) would be highly regarded
