Required skills and Description:

·           Our healthcare client is conducting a search for a Software Project Manager to lead development operations.

·           The DevOps Project Manager must bring well-rounded experience to the table including hands-on knowledge of development, testing and/or systems engineering.

·           While the DevOps Project Manager will be managing several projects in an environment that includes several different platforms including Microsoft and open source technologies, he/she will not be involved in direct development.

·           The goals of the DevOps Project Manager are to manage tasks and statuses for developers as well as be the accountable resource for project teams with accountable development resources.

·           Responsibilities of the Project Manager include: Maintains accountability for all phases of the project from design through testing including environment readiness and deployment.

·           Works with responsible SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) across IT who will create the design, build and deploy the solutions as well as facilitate meetings with SMEs to produce designs, documentation, packaging, implementation, and turnover Acts as primary interface to SPMO for the design and build phase of the project.

·           Manage and process facilitation during design, build and initial deployment and escalates issues to SMEs, resource managers as well as the Director of Architecture and Strategy.

·           Rate SMEs performance Conduct work breakdown meetings to identify deliverables Gather committed dates for delivery from responsible parties (SMEs and managers) Technical Environment the Project Manager should have experience with some the technologies and platforms listed below and/or similar technologies and platforms:

·           Microsoft development environments (.NET, SQL Server, etc.) Full-stack Java development environments and other associated open source technologies and platforms (Java, J2EE, WebSphere) Data warehousing/ETL/Business Intelligence/Reporting (client is heavily vested in Informatica and Cognos) Experience in health plans would be more valuable than a specific technology.
